Additional Information
There is a Chinese proverb that says, “If you want one year of prosperity, grow grain. If you want ten years of prosperity, grow trees. If you want one hundred years of prosperity, grow people.” Growing up as an individual, there are many important junctures and decisions we have to make in order to find meanings and purposes of who we are and what we want to make out of our lives, especially in times of uncertainties. For many of us, speaking from personal’s experience, there is a lack of opportunity or blessing for someone to come up close and personal to guide or help find our bearings for those important moments. Though I was not given the opportunities to have the right counsel during my formative years as a young person, I was blessed to find myself involved and mentored by others through intentional and occasional counselling and advice. It is my goal and passion to see those in needs find a channel and source of help to overcome their momentarily hiccups in life through counselling. Walter’s area of interest is in addiction. While he has specific training and experience, he truly believes that each person is their own “best expert”
